320422_pills_6.jpgThese are computerised. If you use regular medication, you may not need to see the doctor each time you require a prescription. You will have a computerised “repeat treatment slip”. Please tick the items you require and bring the slip to the surgery. We do not accept any repeat prescription requests over the telephone.

Please allow TWO working days for us to process your repeat prescription requests.

If you provide a stamped addressed envelope we can post your prescription back to you (but please remember to allow time for the post).

Or you may FAX us your repeat treatment slip on 01633 615921 for Risca or 01495 200847 for Cwmfelinfach.

There is also an order and collection service available at the local pharmacy.

When there are no repeats left (indicated by a zero on the slip) this means you will need to see a doctor, or sometimes a nurse, for a review. Please arrange an appointment well before you run out, as requesting more repeats will inevitably cause delay.

Please also note that requesting other items which are not listed on the “repeat treatment slip” will also cause delay and while sometimes such a prescription may be issued, you may be asked to arrange to see a doctor.
